Remember when Kate Gosselin was on The Viewbawling about being a single mom trying to provide for her kids? Apparently a new $7,000 hairdo counts as food and shelter. RadarOnline reports:
“My haircuts are $950,” Ted revealed. “The color would have been about $500, and the extensions, which were great length extensions, would probably cost about $5000.”
Kate was excited about getting a new look to start off the new year, but was a little nervous about changing her trademark bangs. “We were together for about 20 hours and I would say 15 of those hours were working on Kate trying to convince her to cut her bangs,” Ted joked. “I felt like she was hiding behind that front piece.”
Despite the hesitation, he said the mother of eight “was really open to the entire process.” Ted summed up his vision for the TLC star: “I wanted to make sure I took her from being really ordinary to really extraordinary!”
I wonder how Kate chose which college fund to rob. If it were me, I’d make all eight of them stand in a circle then let a spinning bottle decide who’s going to work in retail until they die. I guess you could say, I’m great with kids.

After being labeled an “embarrassment” in court, Jon Gosselin is now barred from making media appearances after TLC won an injunction in Maryland yesterday. Us Magazine reports:
“Photos of Jon Gosselin with scores of bikini-clad women was inconsistent with our image brand of our show,” added Edward Sabin, TLC’s Chief Operating Officer.
Sabin offered other examples of bad behavior: Gosselin’s habit of signing autographs outside the family’s Pennsylvania home; his lavish, photo-op filled trip to the south of France with then-girlfriend Hailey Glassman; talk of a “Hollywood Rebel” clothing line and another potential show, Divorced Dads Club, with Michael Lohan.
Sabin futilely reached out to Gosselin’s manager. “It was a bit disconcerting, so we cried, ‘Foul! Guys, foul!’ — you gotta get your guy in line.”
When the frustrated network attempted to rename the show Kate Plus Eight to focus solely on wife Kate’s struggles “as a single mother,” Gosselin’s legal team retaliated and successfully shut down production. “If the father of the children states an objection of the kids being filmed, we’re gonna honor that,” Sabin explained.
And then there’s my favorite comment from the network:
“We look forward to the next phase of the litigation, which is to pursue our claim for damages resulting from Mr. Gosselin’s numerous breaches.”

Sienna Miller and Jude Law were both on their way into Jonny Lee Miller’s son’s first birthday party earlier today in NYC. The pair certainly seems to be spending lots of time together, after she was spotted bolting from photographers on her way out of his apartment yesterday. Jonny has so far been Sienna and Jude’s Big Apple link - he’s one of Jude’s oldest friends and is currently starring in After Miss Julie with Sienna. These frequent run-ins have many speculating that Sienna and Jude are back together, but you guys just aren’t into the idea.

The duo seems to be doing okay after recent rumors of trouble, which apparently Jessica manages to laugh off. Her use of humor about romance will come in handy with her upcoming movie project, the comedy F***ing Engaged.

Kate Hudson tried to go under the radar yesterday as she arrived at LAX in a scarf and hat. She was spotted by photographers, but her traveling companion, Alex Rodriguez, was slightly more covert. He did pop up, though, when the duo landed at London’s Heathrow this morning. Alex is by Kate’s side as she takes her Nine promotional tour to Europe, after joining her in LA at the American Music Awards. Kate and Alex even spent Thanksgiving together in California, though the fitness fanatic duo managed to fit in a holiday workout before chowing down. David Beckham was decked out in denim yesterday as he arrived at LAX. He put on his backpack and made his way toward his flight to London, where he landed this morning. He’s off on another trip after recently traveling to Seattle for the MLS Finals. David is switching gears from American to European soccer, as he’s apparently set to represent the English team at the World Cup draw in Cape Town, South Africa, on Friday along with Charlize Theron.

It was the biggest are-they-or-aren’t they question of the year - are Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart dating in real life? In the run-up to New Moon’s release, it seemed like everyone was speculating about whether or not Kristen and Rob acted like Bella Swan and Edward Cullen offscreen. We got to see Robert and Kristen as they wrapped up promotion of Twilight earlier this year and as they headed to Vancouver to film New Moon in the Spring. During breaks from the set, the duo shared nights out together and even shared cab rides home. They were soon off to Italy, where it was time to film their passionate scene with a hot shirtless Rob. Once that movie wrapped, it was time to make the awards show rounds for Twilight. Robert and Kristen made a memorable appearance at the MTV Movie Awards, where they showed off their obvious chemistry while accepting the Best Kiss honor before evidently spending that night together.
The duo split up for a good chunk of the Summer, as she stayed in LA to work on The Runaways and Robert headed east to film Remember Me. They reunited at Comic Con before the Teen Choice Awards and the VMAs, where they looked too cute together backstage. Soon they were off to Vancouver for Eclipse, kicking things off with a Kings of Leon show before filming began - Robert and Kristen also raised a few eyebrows by looking extremely close throughout the show. The work never stopped for Robert and Kristen because after finishing up on Eclipse they were off to promote New Moon with cozy-looking stops across the globe. Soon, everyone from Jennie Garth to Catherine Hardwicke were weighing in on their situation. The evening Robert and Kristen were spotted holding hands at Heathrow didn’t do much to cool speculation that the duo was together - and, conveniently, all the wondering likely helped make their film a hit. Robert and Kristen don’t seem to be leaving each other’s sides anytime soon, as they were just spotted arriving at LAX together before Thanksgiving.
Heidi Klum braved the masses on Friday to do her Black Friday shopping in LA. It was only one day after her new daughter’s first Thanksgiving – ICYMI, check out the adorable photos of Lou with her brothers and sister! Leni was the only of the Samuel children to accompany her mom and grandmother Erna on the retail rounds, with stops at Armani and Maxfield. Heidi was out solo on Saturday, though, to pick up groceries at the Bristol Farms in Beverly Hills.
Orlando Bloom and Miranda Kerr were arm-in-arm for a stroll through the markets of Marrakech on Saturday night. The duo enjoyed a few days together in Morocco after traveling there for Thursday’s bash at the hotel La Mamounia. He opened up at the event about stealing a few days away with his girlfriend, saying, “Miranda and I spend so much time apart, she’s working hard, I’m working hard, so we have to grab time together whenever we can. . . A weekend here, a weekend there.” This opportunity was short-lived, as he was spotted back at Heathrow today around the same time as his travel buddy Jennifer Aniston while Miranda already popped up in NYC.

Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck hosted family in LA over the long Thanksgiving weekend. She managed to make a solo outing to a hardware store on Saturday, while Violet and Seraphina hit the park with a nanny. Ben spent yesterday afternoon enjoying another outing with Violet, as he and his mom Chris took her to see Cinderella. Jennifer, meanwhile, knocked another item off her to-do list before this week’s school runs with a stop at Byron & Tracey.

Tom Cruise and Cameron Diaz wrapped up work on Knight and Day in Austria and headed to Seville, Spain, where they spent their Saturday afternoon filming under the watchful eye of director James Mangold. Tom was solo, though, when he stood atop his car last night to meet and greet fans. Meanwhile, Katie joined her fellow Dizzy Feet Foundation organizer Nigel Lythgoe yesterday for their inaugural Celebration of Dance in LA. Katie was reunited with the So You Think You Can Dance judge after her July appearance on his show, and she opened up at the event about her husband making a cameo. When asked if Tom would do a good job critiquing the dancers, Katie said, “He would be great. . . He really would.”
