Chris Brown & Frank Ocean: No Charges Filed
Last month they had an altercation outside a Los Angeles recording studio, and it turns out neither Frank Ocean nor Chris Brown will face any legal ramifications.
According to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, “authorities are unlikely to push for a misdemeanor battery charge” against Mr. Brown, despite the fact that he’s still on probation for his assault on Rihanna back in 2009.
Furthermore, the cops want to talk to Ocean one last time before officially closing the case, but Frank likely won’t have any objections to dropping the conversation and moving on.
He previously posted a message to his Tumblr account, stating, “I’ll choose sanity. No criminal charges. No civil lawsuit. Forgiveness, albeit difficult, is wisdom. Peace, albeit trite, is what I want in my short life. Peace.”

When Chris Brown was asked what he thought about fellow Hip-Hop artist Frank Ocean, he responded “Man, no homo”, according to The Advocate.
Following the comment, Brown went on defense mode tweeting “My opinion on the whole Frank Ocean subject is…….Love who you wanna love. It’s ur decision. People stop searching for BS.”
This isn’t the first heated exchange between the two Hip-Hop artists. Apparently the two went at it on Twitter.
Whether or not Brown just wanted to get a rise out of Ocean because of previous disagreements or because Brown just has anger management problems (the Rihanna incident can tell you that much), was the homophobic slur really just an insensitive comment? Do you think he’s tweet was a sufficient enough apology?
Too commonly is the phrase “no homo” used nonchalantly. What do you all think?

Surprise, surprise! Frank Ocean’s early release of Channel Orange was always part of the plan.
“Frank’s appearance on the show was on the books for almost two months, well before his letter last week,” Late Night booker Jonathan Cohen confirms to EW in an email. “The announcement of the early digital release was part of the plan from the very beginning.”
Ocean’s letter about his sexuality, however, was never part of the marketing plan.
