Poor Liam Hemsworth was force to wear this on the set of his new film Empire State. The actor was seen today (June 6, 2012) on set in New Orleans, Louisiana. Lets just say, powder blue pants don’t really work well for Liam.
It’s a good thing that Liam is working because he has a 3.5 carat ring that he has to pay for. Jeweler Neil Lane created the ring for Miley Cyrus, which is a cushion-cut diamond ring, handcrafted in 18-karat gold with intricately carved diamond floral motifs in an art nouveau pattern. The center stone is an antique dating back to the late 19th century.
“It was hand-cut around 1880 or 1890 and it’s unique and in its original form,” Lane says. “At that time no two diamonds were alike, as they were all hand-cut, so it’s fascinating to look at because it hasn’t been re-cut to look contemporary over the years. I find that really romantic.”

The Kings of Leon bassist proposed to aspiring model Martha Patterson on April 11 at his home in Nashville, after just a few months of dating.
Jared Followill, 25, popped the question with a four-carat cushion-cut diamond, set on a diamond band, which he designed himself.
His representative told US Weekly: “Yes, it’s true! Jared proposed to Martha on April 11 at his home in Nashville and we’re all excited for the newly engaged couple.”
Jared wrote on his Twitter page: “It’s true! I’m engaged! CANNOT wait to finally lose my virginity (sic).”
The couple plan to divide their time between their homes in Nashville and Los Angeles. Martha raised speculation that her rocker beau had proposed last month when she tweeted, “What a beautiful, wonderfully perfect day,” and was spotted wearing the ring as they partied at Coachella music festival.
The wedding date has not yet been revealed.

The Hollywood Reporter is reporting that Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are engaged!
Jolie was spotted with a ring on her finger at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art’s Chinese Galleries on Wednesday.
A rep for jeweler Robert Procop, who has designed pieces for Jolie, 36, and Pitt, 48, in the past, tells The Hollywood Reporter: “I can confirm that, yes, Robert Procop did indeed design an engagement ring for Angelina Jolie, designed in collaboration with Brad Pitt.”
