TV Ratings: NBC Wins with Tiger Woods, Ugly Betty up again; Dollhouse up a tiny bit
NBC ruled the night for a change with Dateline (focusing on Tiger Woods) the night’s most-watched program on the broadcast networks. Law & Order was also strong and though a surprise appearance from Sarah Palin lifted Jay Leno’s ratings versus a typical Friday, it was still not enough to lead it past ABC’s 20/20.
Ahead of the move to Wednesdays at 10pm, Ugly Betty rose again with adults 18-49, from last week’s 1.2 to a 1.4 rating and 4.8 million viewers overall, it’s best on Friday since the season premiere.
Dollhouse was up a bit over last week, particularly in the 8pm hour where it pulled a 1.0 rating with adults 18-49 (versus last week’s .8 rating for the 8pm episode). But how you gonna lie to me and be all up in my face about a treatment, I don’t have time for no nerd convention. Did I fall asleep? Or something like that. Anyway, for the 9pm hour it was back down to a .8 rating with adults 18-49, but for the two hour block it averaged over 2.4 million viewers and a .9 with adults 18-49. Last week for the two hour block it averaged 2.05 million viewers and a .8 with adults 18-49.

I haven’t had the chance to watch L&O because I was on an airplane. I heard it was good though. What did everyone else watch?
