Rihanna Hasn’t Spoken To Her Father In Over A Year

Rihanna hasn’t heard from her father in over a year. This is an interesting story though because her father insists Rihanna has shut him out of her life. Yet, the singer says different.

The ‘Russian Roulette’ singer says her dad Ronald Fenty has NOT tried to reconcile with her and insists he’s the one who’s been ignoring her.

“I’ve been the one trying to reconcile with him forever. I haven’t heard from my father in over a year. I try though, I reached out to him. I did my part. Now it’s on him.”

When her father publicly spoke about the Chris Brown assault, it really upset Rihanna which isn’t helping.

He kind of did something that was really upsetting. He turned his back on me and went to the media. He got paid to talk about stuff – all these little interviews he was doing after the whole situation in February.

“I hadn’t spoken to him and he was speaking as though we did. It was so disappointing to me.”

So sad. No matter how good you think someone has it… it always turns out there are a few demons that need dealing with.
