Blake Lively in Glamour UK August ’09 edition

Blake Lively recently spoke with Glamour magazine about her objections to having now real-life boyfriend Penn Badgley as a castmate when the series first started up in 2007.

Lively tells, “At first I was so upset that they hired him. I actually poisoned the whole cast against him. But then they noticed that he wasn’t a jerk and was actually a really nice, charming person.”

Continuing on about her co-star lover, who was also a childhood classmate, Blake said, “Almost immediately I realized that too, but it took me about a week to admit it.”
